Nebraska Extension's Rural Family Stress and Wellness Team promotes the health and wellness of all Nebraskans. Along with the University of Nebraska, this diverse team of community partners meets regularly to share resources and programs that also focus on the unique needs of rural residents.

This virtual workshop is designed for farmers and ranchers, their families, and others that work closely with them in the agricultural industry. It provides information on identifying common stressors, recognizing stress symptoms, and managing stress.
Drought not only impacts our crops, pastures, landscapes, and lawns, but it can cause stress for communities and people.
Sleep affects every moment of our daily lives, from how we think and remember to how our bodies thrive or deteriorate. It determines how we deal with stress, make choices related to safety, and function as human beings. While most health education tends to focus on nutrition and activity, sleep is arguably the single most important factor in maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and lack of it causes a significantly reduced quality of life.
